Man, 38, in Wood County jail after body discovered in northern Wisconsin [Video]

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAW) – A 38-year-old man is in the Wood County Jail after investigators said he is the suspect in a death investigation.

Deyvin Castro Gutierrez is facing charges of first-degree intentional homicide.

An investigation began on Nov. 3. Authorities responded to a rural area in Price County following the discovery of a body.

The victim was identified the victim as 28-year-old Blanca Jesenia Hernandez Portocarrero of Marshfield, according to the city’s police department. The investigation has revealed Hernandez Portocarrero was killed in the city of Marshfield. Her death is being investigated as a domestic violence incident.
