With all of the votes counted in the Maharashtra 2024 Assembly polls, the Mahayuti alliance has bagged 18 of the 31 seats with a sizeable Muslim presence in the State. The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) managed to secure 12 of these seats despite having led in 24 of these Assembly segments in the Lok Sabha polls held earlier this year.

The 31 seats considered are constituencies in which Muslims make up more than 20% of the people on electoral rolls. These seats are primarily concentrated in the relatively affluent and urban areas of the Mumbai-Thane region.
The MVA alliance managed to secure 37.5% of the votes polled in these constituencies in the 2024 Assembly polls, with the Mahayuti garnering 40.3% of the votes.
