Macy’s Pink Pig returns this holiday season [Video]

ATLANTA — A beloved local holiday tradition will be back in action this year! The Macy’s Pink Pig will return to Atlanta this year with a twist. 

The train will be at this year’s Georgia Festival of Trees at the Gas South Convention Center. The festival will last from Nov. 23 through Dec. 1, according to a press release. The new Pink Pig will debut at the festival’s Opening Night Gala on Nov. 22 and will be open each day except Nov. 27-28, when it will be closed for Thanksgiving. Rides will cost $5 per rider.

The Pink Pig is a pig-themed train for all ages, first created in 1953 by Rich’s. This year’s new version will take guests on a magical ride through the Georgia Festival of Trees.
