Lt. Governor Davis addresses possible promotion to Governor amid Harris-Shapiro rumors [Video]

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis addressed the possibility of a promotion amid rumors that current Governor Josh Shapiro may be chosen as Kamala Harris’s running mate.

Speculation circulated around Shapiro after President Biden dropped his campaign for a second term and endorsed Vice President Harris. The Hill is reporting Harris’ campaign asked Governor Shapiro for vetting materials, even though Shapiro has denied being asked. In the event Shapiro is chosen to run with Harris and wins, Davis will be promoted to Governor of Pennsylvania.
