LSU runner Sha’Carri Richardson wins gold in 4x100m relay [Video]

Louisiana State University track star Sha’Carri Richardson has secured her first Olympic gold medal. Richardson anchored the Women’s 4×100 meter relay Friday, coming from behind to win the gold. This is her second medal of the games. Richardson took silver in the Women’s 400m event and propelled the team to the final in the 4x400m relay on Thursday. This is Richardson’s first Olympics. Before attending LSU in 2019, in high school, Richardson was the number 1 sprint recruit in the United States in the class of 2018 and was a top-ranked sprinter in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.Richardson attended LSU in 2019, where she set the collegiate record in the 100-meter dash at the NCAA Championship and won her first NCAA title with a PR of 10.75, making her one of the ten fasted women in history.She also became the first woman in world history to rub sub 10.8 …
