Several Lowe’s Home Improvement stores in western North Carolina distributed free Thanksgiving meals on Tuesday to families affected by Hurricane Helene. According to WBTV, a total of six stores handed out 500 family-style meals each, providing food for approximately 12,000 people this holiday season.
Lowe’s shared in a statement, “We will continue to host events throughout the week with the goal of helping impacted restaurants and artisans.” The initiative is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support communities in need following the devastation caused by the hurricane.
