According to the company, safety demonstrations and other tips necessary for preventing smoke alarm-related fires will occur on Monday, Oct. 7, before 9 a.m. at the Lower Allen Fire Company at 2233 Gettysburg Road in Camp Hill.
Fire Prevention Week has been happening for over a century, the company said. This year’s theme aims to educate the public about the importance of owning a functional smoke alarm.
