LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For a second year in a row the Indian community got to showcase their culture at the Kentucky Exposition Center with India Fest. It’s a big celebration highlighting fashion, cuisine, choreography and more within the west wing.
The event is also an opportunity for Indian entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses, network and connect with their Louisville community.
Owners of Shreee’s Boutique, Mohandar and Rakhi Dodwani, had a booth at the festival where they showcased custom jewelry and clothing.
“It’s my first time having my booth stall here,” Rakhi said. “Last year they had a great crowd come in. I said let’s go try and I’ve gotten very good exposure here.”
