Louisville named 2027 NCAA Tournament 1st/2nd Round Host Site [Video]

March Madness is returning to Louisville. Host sites were announced for the 2027 NCAA Tournament and Louisville is one of eight cities that will host first and second-round games. They will take place March 19 and 21, 2027 at the KFC Yum! Center with the University of Louisville serving as host.

This will be the second time in the next three years the NCAA Tournament comes to Kentucky. Rupp Arena will host the first and second rounds of the 2025 NCAA Tournament (March 20 and 22), although Kentucky can’t play there since it’s the Cats’ home venue. This will be the sixth time the Yum Center has hosted the NCAA Tournament. The First and Second Rounds took place in Louisville in 2012 and 2015 and the Regionals in 2016, 2019, and 2023.
