Local non-profits partner for back-to-school supply drive and bowling bonanza [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Nevada Kids Foundation is inviting the community to roll into the new school year at our fun-filled Back to School Bowling Bonanza cohosted by the Katie Grace Foundation and the RennerVation Foundation.

Kallie Todaro, executive director of the Nevada Kids Foundation, and Heidi Rich, director of programming at the RennerVation Foundation, stopped by Morning Break to invite the whole community out to the National Bowling Stadium before the start of school.

Proceeds from the Bowling Bonanza will provide support to fostered youth across Northern Nevada. Every donation of school supplies or winter essentials gets you an additional raffle ticket.

The event takes place Sunday, August 11 from 12 – 4 p.m. at the National Bowling Stadium (300 University Way, Reno). The event will be emceed by KOLO 8 Morning Break’s Katey Roshetko. Register now for the limited bowler and sponsorship spots.
