UTICA, N.Y. — As the aftermath of Hurricane Helene continues to be felt and Hurricane Milton looms over Florida, local residents are actively looking for ways to provide assistance.
A local car dealership, or as they like to call themselves, a “care” dealership, is stepping up to assist in this effort.
They are gathering donations such as bottled water, diapers, paper towels and first aid supplies for residents in North Carolina.
Additionally, they are collaborating with a local transportation company to ensure these donations reach those in need.
“Imagine if it happened here,” Carl Neff, PR and social media specialist for Nimey, said. “Imagine if it happened to our families. And family is such a core value of Nimey Auto Group, all of our locations. So, it just made sense for us to want to help out.”
