MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery County Board of Education will hold a special board meeting Thursday evening to discuss the roles of interim superintendent and chief school financial officer.
The board meeting will start at 5 p.m. at the Montgomery Public Schools Leadership Center, located at 632 South Union St. It can be seen in the window below.

The meeting will happen just hours after the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce pulled together a number of community leaders to urge the Alabama State Department of Education to take over the Montgomery Public Schools System once again.
