Only two other cities in the Lone Star State are on the list of 100 top cities in the world and Houston is ranked higher than both of them.
HOUSTON — Houston can now claim the title of one of the world’s best cities based on a survey of more than 22,000 people in 30 countries.
Resonance Consulting came up with the 2025 rankings of the top 100 cities to visit, live and work. They only looked at cities with at least a million people.
Houston landed at No. 40, the highest ranking among Texas cities. Austin is No. 53 followed closely by Dallas at 55. No other cities in the Lone Star State made the cut.
They asked the following questions to determine three key factors: Livability, lovability and prosperity:
