UP TO THE CRASH. WELL, TONIGHT IT FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS. A LITTLE BIT LIKE CHRISTMAS AT THE NORTH CAROLINA ARBORETUM IN ASHEVILLE. NEARLY TWO MONTHS AFTER HURRICANE HELENE DESTROYED THOUSANDS OF TREES AT THE PARK WHERE THE DISPLAY IS HELD, THE MUST SEE HOLIDAY WALK THROUGH DISPLAY KICKED OFF TONIGHT. OUR NATE STANLEY WAS THERE AS PEOPLE GOT INTO THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT. OUTSIDE OF THE LIGHTS, JUST BEING GORGEOUS HERE AT THE NORTH CAROLINA ARBORETUM, THEY TELL ME THEY’RE. ALSO RAISING MONEY AND OPENING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES THAT WERE IMPACTED BY HELENE TO COME HERE AND EXPERIENCE THIS. I COULD LEAVE THE OLD DAYS BEHIND. WE’RE ABLE TO KIND OF ENJOY OUR CHRISTMAS AND ENJOY OUR THANKSGIVING. AFTER A REALLY, REALLY HARD MONTH. BEING IN ASHEVILLE. A NEW MEANING TO THE JOY OF THE HOLIDAYS FOR VISITORS EXPERIENCING THE NORTH CAROLINA ARBORETUM’S WINTER LIGHTS. I GO HERE ALMOST EVERY YEAR …
