Leadership changes announced by Community Health Action of Staten Island [Video]

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Several changes to the leadership team and board of directors have been announced by Community Health Action of Staten Island (CHASI).

Ericker Onaga has been officially appointed as executive director. Onaga was promoted upon the retirement of Diane Arneth after 32 years at the helm of the organization.

This change coincides with changes to the leadership of the CHASI board of directors upon the departure of Yolanda Rudich at the end of her term as chair. Newly elected as chair is Dr. Adam Smith, of Richmond Behavioral Associates, a psychologist who works in clinical and research psychology with a focus on Alzheimer’s and psychiatric research.

Tricia Ryan, counsel at ConEd, and Nicholas Robinson, program director at the Pride Center of Staten Island, have also joined the board of directors. Both are Staten Islanders with a long history of support for the agency as volunteers and supporters. …
