Le Mars Theatre show focuses on farce of middle age [Video]

Becky Foster was stuck in middle age, in middle management and in a middling marriage.

That was until an older man, a grief-stricken recent widower with money to burn, wandered into the car dealership where Becky worked.

Will this well-meaning Mr. Moneybags is her a new lease on life or leave the beleaguered Becky stuck in the middle of the highlight?

This is the premise of “Becky’s New Car,” a new comedy being presented by the Le Mars Community Theatre, Oct. 22 – 27, at its Postal Playhouse, 105 First Street N.E.

The play is being directed by veteran Le Mars Community Theatre actor Jeffrey Neary.

“I knew the Des Moines Community Theatre had performed the play a while ago,” Neary, who is also a judge for Iowa Judicial District 3, explained. “I thought it would be a perfect show for us.”
