LCD Soundsystem to Release New Album in 2025 [Video]

Earlier this week, LCD Soundsystem returned out of the blue with a brand new single called “X-Ray Eyes.”  Turns out there is plenty of more music from James Murphy and co. on the way.

Included in today’s press release announcing LCD Soundsystem’s participation in Primavera Sound 2025 is the news that the band will be releasing a new album next year. Here’s exactly what Primavera had to say: “The influential band led by James Murphy will come back to the festival (and with a new album!) to make it clear that, although they are an inherent part of our best memories, their time is always now.”
