RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – If you would like to support this year’s Knollwood Halloween trunk-or-treat event, the deadline to donate is coming up freakishly fast, with the last day being Oct. 30.
Once again, Rapid City’s Community Relations Commission is supporting the event with collection boxes at City Hall for candy and costume donations, but that’s not the only place you can donate. The CRC Fund at Black Hills Community Foundation is currently handling cash donations.
You can pick up goodies on Halloween from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Renewal MB Church parking lot.
In the last two years, more than 21,400 pieces of candy and over $500 have been donated.
