Laramie County Library Foundation hosts annual Booklovers Bash [Video]

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – The Laramie County Library Foundation is a non profit with the goal of raising funds to help support the innovative programs and services that the library offers.

“The really incredible thing about our library is that it really is a community hub. We say it’s so much more than just books,” said Amanda Turner, Director of the Laramie County Library Foundation.

With different activities such as yoga and crafts, ranging all the way to helping with outreach to rural communities, the library is proud to say that they have something for everyone.

“One of my favorites is called Hamago, it’s for the teen group. The acronym is hang out, mess around, geek out. And this is the way young people learn,” said Charles Routt, Laramie County Library Foundation Board member.

But there are also plenty of important unstructured interactions at the library too.
