Lancaster County to celebrate 100th anniversary of West Lampeter Community Fair this week [Video]

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Lancaster County will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the West Lampeter Community Fair this week.

The fair prides itself on farming, gardening, and cooking exhibits. Most of the events start this Wednesday, September 25, however a few activities were available today, including a tractor pull.

“We’ve been planning this for like almost two years, this 100th anniversary, the last year,” said Fair President Don Welk. “We’ve been really working on it pretty hard. There are 45 US directors and we’ve been here the last two weeks setting up every evening and Saturday, just getting ready for the thing.”
