TAMPA, Fla. — The Labor Day weekend festivities are in full swing, and the Tampa Bay area has plenty of fun to offer!

Whether that means starting off the spooky season a little early, discovering local music or even attending community festival — the possibilities are endless. We encourage you to have a good time and stay hydrated during your adventures.

What: It’s one of the largest and most anticipated festivals in the Tampa Bay area, honoring the Gulfport waterfront village’s unofficial mascot and favorite reptile, the Gecko! The festival features live music, over 200 art, craft and food vendors, children’s activities, street performers and costumed characters. There will also be a costume contest, a parade, a fire and acrobatics show and the famous street dance round out.
