KROGER customers are up in arms over a self-checkout policy they claim negatively impacts their shopping experience.

Some argue the retailer’s self-service area has been causing issues for their grocery trips on multiple occasions over the past few months.

They’re now calling for employees to come back for assistance despite policies at select Kroger stores favoring self-checkout over traditional cashiered lanes.

The result has seemingly been long lines and wait times for many.

“Hey @kroger this is getting beyond ridiculous!!” a frustrated customer wrote in a post to X in July.

They included several pictures that showed shoppers waiting in a line backed up half-way down an aisle.

“Does anyone even work here anymore?” the shopper asked.

They continued to claim that the lack of staff at checkout was becoming an “every day thing” at their store.
