KPMG has renewed its title sponsorship of the Women’s Irish Open for three years, extending a partnership first established in 2022 following the golf tournament’s return after a 10-year hiatus.
More than 40,000 people attended the 2024 KPMG Women’s Open over four days at Carton House, marking a 46% increase in tournament attendance since the KPMG sponsorship began.
The 2024 tournament is estimated to have contributed €7m in direct spending, including food, drink, accommodation, event suppliers, rental activities, construction and utilities, as well as €4.6m in economic output.
“We are incredibly proud to extend our sponsorship of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open as we continue to support golf, and women’s sport in Ireland,” said Stephen King, partner at KPMG Ireland.
