This week, we wanted to use our time to remind first-time voters they need to register before they can cast their ballot in the upcoming 2024 General Election.The deadline to register in Missouri is approaching. The last day to register is Oct. 9.The last day to register in Kansas is Oct. 15.Registering to vote is easy and just takes a few minutes.You can visit your local election office or go online by visiting your secretary of state’s website or vote.gov. This will give you time to research the candidates and know where they stand on issues.Lastly, all voters should be reminded that both Kansas and Missouri voters need to show a photo ID before casting their ballot on Election Day.
