The Kitchener Rangers are welcoming back their bench boss just in time for faceoff at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
In a social media post on Friday, the team confirmed Head Coach Jussi Ahokas has returned just shy of a week after he left to deal with a family matter.
On Dec. 7, the team said Ahokas was returning to Finland to attend to a family medical matter. They said he would be gone for an unknown period of time.
On Friday, the team confirmed he will be back behind the bench as the Rangers welcome the Kingston Frontenacs to the Aud.
Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
