Four adults were displaced after the fire.
NORFOLK, Va. — Four adults were displaced from their home after a kitchen fire Saturday night.
The fire happened at 935 Fremont St., according to a press release from Norfolk Fire-Rescue. It was reported at 9:50 p.m., and crews arrived on scene at 9:55.
Crews found fire in the kitchen area in the back of the residence and extinguished it before it spread to other areas of the house.
No injuries were reported, and the fire was called under control at 10:15 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Red Cross has been notified.
