Kids-N-Cops continues to grow, brings out huge crowd | Local [Video]

SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) – The eighth Kids-N-Cops was hosted by the Saltillo Police Department on Saturday.

This annual event is held to help kids and their parents get a jumpstart on the upcoming school year.

Saltillo Police’s Public Relations Director Deundra Poole said Office Depot and OfficeMax helped the department get school supplies at great prices.

Poole said they were able to give out 95 percent of those supplies, which included backpacks, t-shirts, pencil sharpeners, folders, notebooks, and pencils with containers. 

Not only that, Poole said McDonald’s gave away more than 100 Happy Meals, Tiger Treats gave away free snow cone coupons, while other vendors also provided free hotdogs and drinks.
