The early signing period for the 2025 cycle is only two weeks away but recruiting in college football never stops. Coaching staffs are working on building relationships with 2026 and 2027 prospects before an important unofficial visit window opens during the spring semester after the holiday break.

Kentucky is making a big push for one of the prospects in the 2026 class.

Tavares (Fla.) High linebacker Izayia Williams trimmed his list to eight schools on Tuesday. Kentucky made the cut along with Alabama, Florida, LSU, Maryland, Miami, UCF, and USC.

“I’ll be locked in with a school by July 4,” Williams told On3. “That’s my birthday. I’ll just commit then.”
