If the marketing is anything to go by, then the performance of Super Bowl LIX’s Halftime Show should be truly special. Kendrick Lamar is headlining the performance and bringing a special guest performer.

Lamar is teaming up with SZA for the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show in New Orleans on Feb. 9. He made a hilarious video to announce SZA as a guest performer. In the video, Lamar is on a football field on a phone call.

He teased that he is teaming with a performer that is “a lot bigger than what people think.” Cue SZA sneaking up behind him with a cooler full of what appears to be Gatorade. The video freeze frames on SZA about to poor the energy drink all over Lamar as he mentions he is “thinking about a guest performer.”

It’s not the first time the two have partnered together. So it should be familiar but fertile ground. …
