Ken Kapptie, Skyline High School [Video]

“Ken is a fantastic teacher who teaches highly engaging classes in a diverse range of program areas which keeps him on his toes and constantly changing mindsets with each new class. His classes include Digital Media Yearbook, Video Production, Exploring Computer Science, Game Development Fundamentals, Computer Programming 1 & 2, Advanced Computer Programming, and Robotics. On top of his classroom responsibilities, he oversees the highly demanding yearbook responsibilities working with students, the school, and the community to represent their students and school throughout the year. He also runs the school’s robotics team that has achieved wonderful feats and participated in national robotics competitions for many years, and he serves as the school’s TSA (Technology Student Association) Chapter Advisor which includes having two State TSA Officers and having students qualify and compete at the national TSA conference each year.
