Karine Jean-Pierre Scoffs at Question from Foxs Peter Doocy [Video]

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre dismissed a question about Vice President Kamala Harris’s accent from Peter Doocy of Fox News.

Harris has been campaigning in battleground states ahead of her general election contest with former President Donald Trump. During Tuesday’s White House press briefing, Doocy asked Jean-Pierre about Harris’s accent during some of those stops.

Conservative social media accounts have noted a certain twang that Harris uses in some of her speeches. On Monday, Trump’s campaign juxtaposed two speeches Harris gave, one in Detroit and one in Pittsburgh. “Kamala Harris delivers the same exact line in a speech earlier today in Detroit and again in Pittsburgh a few hours later,” the account wrote.

Doocy did not mention the account, but he did ask about Harris’s remarks in the two cities:

DOOCY: Since when does the vice president have what sounds like a Southern accent?

JEAN-PIERRE: I have no idea what you’re talking about.
