Vice President Kamala Harris was ridiculed online after she re-emerged in public in the wake of her election defeat at the hands of Donald Trump.
Harris appeared at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland to deliver a speech encouraging her younger followers not to lose hope and to look to the future.
In the speech, she attempted a flashback to the early days of the campaign and the viral ‘coconut tree’ memes that showcased her awkward brand of humor.
‘I ask you to remember the context in which you exist,’ Harris said to muted laughter in the crowd.
It was a nod to one of her many infamous ‘word salads’ that went viral on the campaign trail.
