Durham College (DC) is proud to partner with Johnson Controls to award annual entrance bursaries to five students entering their first semester of studies in the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program. These bursaries are designed to help those with demonstrated financial need and who belong to an equity-deserving group, including but not limited to, those who are racialized, identify as female, or have a disability.
Each Johnson Controls Entrance Bursary is valued at $2,000 and includes mentorship and networking opportunities with local Johnson Controls employees.
Many DC graduates of the Electromechanical Engineering Technology program are leading the way in their careers at Johnson Controls, which showcases the program’s success in the industry. These entrance bursaries are an extension of DC’s four-year partnership with Johnson Controls that also includes a gift-in-kind donation of new equipment for DC’s lab space.
