John Rich has called out his fellow country artists who support President Donald Trump but have remained publicly silent on the matter, while citing Garth Brooks and Brad Paisley as examples of musicians who spoke out for “the other side.”
Musician Rich is known to be an avowed supporter of Republican Trump, who was officially sworn into office on Monday, more than two months after he defeated Democrat rival, former Vice President Kamala Harris, at the polls in November.
Trump’s inauguration saw a host of country musicians descend on Washington, D.C., to join the lineup of stars performing at the ceremony and associated events, including Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts and Lee Greenwood.
