John Cena Retirement Tour: WWE Legend Says 2025 Wrestlemania Will Be His Final Match | Latin Post [Video]

During the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, John Cena dropped a bombshell announcing his retirement. He then clarified during the post-event press conference that he plans to retire after his final match, which would be during Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas, Nevada next year.

He was introduced before the Toronto crowd by the city’s own WWE legend, Trish Stratus, and everybody was surprised by his sudden appearance as he was not scheduled to be there. Instead, the man who used to be the “Doctor of Thugganomics” thanked the crowd for their years of support before announcing his retirement.

The 16-time WWE champion did not reveal much during his surprise in-ring segment, but he did bring up a banner that said “LAST,” hinting at his plans. Cena did say that he would reveal more details about his plans during the post-event press conference, which he did.
