MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) – 2024 was an incredible year for music in the Queen City, including the country’s longest-running music festival.
The Jimmie Rodgers Music Festival and Museum has had a jam-packed 2024, from new educational programs to sell-out shows.
This year, thousands of people came from all over the country to listen to artists like Red Clay Strays, The Jax Moore Band, and so many more.
“We’ve had such a great year, a banner year. In fact, you know, during the festival we had the first sellout show in 38 years and that’s only we’ve only been able to do that with the Community support, the city, the county, all of the residents that have.
