JENNINGS, La. (KLFY) — The city of Jennings has seen exponential growth in its economic development with at least $75 million invested in the community in the last seven years.
Jennings Mayor Henry Guinn said the city has seen an increase in its development in recent years. One of the driving factors of this is investments made to make the city a place that attracts victors and retains residents.
“If you look at the total growth over seven years for a city the size of 10,000 people. Not many people can touch what we’re doing right now,” he said.
The mayor said the local government is a firm believer that aesthetics matter.
“What your town looks like, how it operates, how traffic flows. It all goes into that investment,” he said.
