Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville weigh in on David Coote controversy amid Liverpool fans’ fury [Video]

Prominent Premier League punditry duo Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville have belatedly broken their silence regarding the current David Coote controversy. 

A viral video has done the rounds on social media, showing the Premier League referee making some incendiary remarks about former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, using the c-word in relation to the German manager. 

It has prompted the Football Association (FA) and Professional Games Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) to launch dual investigations into Coote’s behaviour, with many – especially Liverpool fans – calling for the official to be sacked. He has been suspended from action pending those investigations.
