James Feil interim district administrator at Bristol School [Video]

Since Sept. 20, James Feil has taken the lead as Bristol’s Interim District Administrator by School Board appointment.

In a memo, the School Board stated the appointment “aims to support Bristol School and its leadership in maintaining smooth operations across out district for our students, staff and families.”

“The Board wants to reassure students, staff, parents and the community that this Board decision is not an attempt to replace Mr. Jack Musha during his approved leave of absence,” the memo read.

Feil most recently held positions in Manitowoc Public School District and Montello School District in Wisconsin. He has 37 years of K-12 education experience, including more than 30 years in leadership roles as an assistant superintendent and superintendent.

He holds a Master in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Central Michigan University, as well as an educational specialist degree from the University of Michigan-Flint.
