Jacksonville church hit by 2023 tornado uses new building to give back [Video]

One Jacksonville church which has overcome tragedy, held its annual Christmas Mall, where kids and families in need could enjoy a meal and pick up gifts.

JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — On Saturday, the New Commandment Church of God in Christ in Jacksonville held its annual Christmas Mall where they were able to provide toys and food to kids and families in the local community.

It’s far from being the only giveaway taking place this time of year, but this one was extra special because it’s the first one that the church has held in its new facility after the old one was destroyed in the March 2023 tornado.

“It’s been mind-blowing,” Senior Pastor Eddie Miller said of the new facility. “Out of this world, man.”

Miller said the building is perfect for worship, training, and events like the Christmas Mall.
