Jack Johnson sworn in as Twin Falls County’s new sheriff [Video]

TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho — The Twin Falls Sheriff’s Office (TFSO) has sworn in Jack Johnson as the new sheriff. The office said the ceremony took place on Monday, Jan. 13., and that Johnson brought a “wealth of experience” to the position.

“His dedication to public safety, coupled with his commitment to fostering strong partnerships within the community, ensures a bright future for Twin Falls County. Under his leadership, we are confident that we will continue to enhance the safety and well-being of our residents,” TFSO stated on social media.

Johnson was elected after the previous sheriff, Tom Carter, retired at the beginning of 2025.
