Ivy Tech Community College hosting National Day of Play event | Local [Video]

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — Ivy Tech Community College of Lafayette will be celebrating the importance of play in children’s lives with a special event.

On Saturday at the Ivy Hall Auditorium, Ivy Tech will be hosting the National Day of Play event. 

The event is free and will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and  will feature a keynote by Kisa Marx, Founder & Executive Director of the Play Lab Foundation.

Heather Bernt-Santy, Early Childhood Educator at Ivy Tech stopped by News 18 at noon to share more about the event.
