While the band has not officially confirmed this, the account began posting about the new token around 8 PM ET on Tuesday, June 25. These posts described the token as a groundbreaking new way to enhance event experiences and online shopping, claiming a partnership with Ticketmaster.
Additionally, the posts mentioned a collaboration with a firm called MoonPay. However, MoonPay’s president, Keith Grossman, cautioned the public, stating, “MoonPay does NOT support METAL,” as reported by Coin Telegraph.
