Iron Maiden‘s long-running mobile game Legacy of the Beast is being discontinued.
After launching eight years ago, the game will no longer be downloadable or playable as of January 1st, and in-app cash purchases have now been disabled. Players are encouraged to use their remaining in-game currency by December 31st when the game goes offline.
The news came via a press statement on the game’s official website. Developer Navigator Games thanked longtime players and revealed that it’s still involved in a future project with Iron Maiden despite the conclusion of Legacy:
“As the band’s 2023/24 The Future Past Tour concludes in Brazil this weekend, we’re reminded of this games’ incredible achievements – notably having a tour inspired by, and named after, it.
