AN Irish cinema chain has made a major announcement for movie fans as ticket prices will be slashed for one day only.

ODEON Cinemas has just revealed a special offer for its customers on Saturday, August 31.

The chain is dropping ticket prices in celebration of National Cinema Day.

Movie lovers can now experience the latest films on the big screen for only €4, or €5 if you book your ticket online.

The special offer was made just in time as some of the highest anticipated films hit the screen such as ‘It Ends With Us’, ‘Deadpool & Wolverine, and ‘Despicable Me 4′.

In a statement, the cinema chain said they are delighted to make the announcement.
