India’s star pacer Mohammed Shami on Thursday fired back at former player and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar for his assertion that the speedster won’t command a high price in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mega auction.
Shami, who has taken 127 wickets in 110 IPL matches since his debut in 2013, made a comeback to competitive cricket recently after spending nearly a year’s time away due to an ankle injury for which he had undergone surgery.
