Inola community comes together to show support for Cage Stidham | News [Video]

INOLA, Okla. — A community came together to watch a youth football game and show support for one of its young coaches. 

Cage Stidham guided his team on the field months after suffering a brain injury from a car accident. 

Stidham is thankful the community continues to have his back while he’s on the road to recovery. 

Coach Stidham went from fighting for his life after sustaining a brain injury, a broken shoulder, broken ribs and a fractured pelvis to being on the sidelines calling out plays. 

Stidham’s papa said he’s come a long way since the horrible accident on November 11, 2023. 

“Oh, he’s leaps and bounds more than what we ever expected. I mean from the time they told him he wasn’t going to make it through the night until where he is now…we stand up for the national anthem so, were making headway every day,” said Stidham’s papa.
