Influencer Farah El Kadhi Dead After Suspected Heart Attack: Reports [Video]

Farah El Kadhi, a popular Tunisian social media influencer, died at the age of 36 from a suspected heart attack, according to multiple reports.

She was reportedly vacationing on the European island of Malta when she went into cardiac arrest on Monday, June 17, according to the Times of Malta and Malta Today.

In a statement to PEOPLE on Friday, June 21, a Malta police representative confirmed that “a 36 year old Tunisian female was certified dead at Mater Dei Hospital” on June 17.

The Malta police representative also wrote that they could not provide any additional comment as a magisterial inquiry and police investigations are ongoing.

PEOPLE contacted Mater Dei Hospital, which did not offer an immediate response.
