Indiana Valor tryouts see over 170 women attend [Video]

The Indiana Valor are scheduled to kick off as the Women’s Football Alliance’s newest team beginning in spring 2025.

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana’s newest professional football team held tryouts on Saturday ahead of their planned debut in the spring of 2025. 

The Indiana Valor of the Women’s Football Alliance saw over 170 women from across the Hoosier state show up for a combine on Oct. 19 hoping to make the team. 

The team will be the first women’s football team from the Circle City since the Indy Crash folded after the completion of the 2017 WFA season. The Crash played at Roncalli High School and won their division once in 2011.

Prospective players took their talents to the Mojo Up Sports Complex in Noblesville with hopes of playing professional football for their hometown. One player said they tried out to inspire her family.
