On September 18 the leadership and staff of In Defense of Christians (IDC), IRD’s program advocating for the protection and preservation of Christianity in the Middle East, welcomed friends at IDC’s 10th Anniversary Celebration. The celebration followed IDC’s annual Capitol Hill Advocacy Day.
Even if you were unable to attend in person, enjoy the festivities and speeches in the video provided below from IDC’s YouTube channel.
In Defense of Christians is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that serves the historic Christian communities of the Middle East through unified, coordinated advocacy and greater public awareness. In particular, IDC seeks to promote awareness and preserve the historic Christian communities of the Middle East and to advocate on their behalf. This awareness will be focused on countries of concern, such as Egypt, Iraq, and Syria, Iran and Sudan, contrasting them with models of equality and pluralism in the region, such as Lebanon and Jordan.
